Maia Strong is a native of the Pacific Northwest and continues to reside there with her awesome husband and their two fabulous kitties. Her banes in life are intolerance, ignorance, and bad coffee, and she values a talented barista above most other forms of human life.
In her dark and shrouded past (i.e., high school), Maia developed an affinity for writing about boys who love boys, but it was only when she discovered slash fanfiction that she realized there was a vast audience who enjoyed reading about them. Thus was a love affair born. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys working in many different capacities at a number of local theatres. When she is writing, it’s on a Dell laptop, frequently at the local pub with a pint of hard cider in front of her, and as often as possible with other author friends. Otherwise, she’s writing at home on the sofa with the cats somewhere nearby.
In her spare time, Maia enjoys bellydancing, listening to radio shows, cooking and baking, and writing about herself in the third person.
