Posted by Laurie M. Rauch, 06/20/07 10:09 AM
I’m pleased to announce that the following stories have been selected for the Strangers in the Night Valentine’s Day Anthology.
Torn Hearts, Bonnie Dee
Like a Thief in the Night, Bettie Sharpe
Erotics Anonymous, Veronica Wilde
The competition was incredibly tough and there were some awesome entries, so this was a very difficult decision. Thank you to everyone who entered. :D

Holy Schlamoley!!! I came over here just to see who was blogging today and imagine my surprise!! I haven’t even been contacted yet. Whoopeeee! Yes, you’re witnessing my first, unadulterated joy right here and now.
Shoot, Bonnie, my email went insane last night… I did send you an email so you wouldn’t be shocked by this :) and I thought one made it through. Let me know if it didn’t and I’ll resend… (oh, and congrats! :) )
Wow. I am so glad I woke up this morning! I’m published! By Samhain! In an anthology with the amazing Bonnie Dee and Veronica Wilde!
I’m floating. I don’t think my feet will touch the ground all day.
Thanks Laurie & Samhain!
“I am so glad I woke up this morning!”
Were you planning not to? That’s kinda creepy! Yes, I’m back, just looking at those names again. Hee!
Color me ecstatic! I loved the theme of this anthology (as well as the song – I love Sinatra) and I’m so excited to be included. I’m in good company too! ;)

Ooh. Just saw how that could be read differently than intended.
I hate mornings. If I had my druthers, I’d sleep until noon every day. If I’d slept until noon today, I would have found out much later.
And this news is totally worth waking up for. I didn’t even need my morning cup of coffee. My hubby said it was like someone had secretly replaced his morning grouch of a wife with a cartoon character.
Poor man. He’s not much for mornings, either. And today he woke up to find his wife grinning like a mad woman with breakfast and coffee waiting for him. I’m sure once he gets over the shock, he’ll be sending Samhain a thank you, too.
Oh… wow, majorly congrats, Bettie! So proud of you. :)
WOOHOOO! Congrats guys! How awesome! :-)
Congrats to Bonnie, Bettie, and Veronica.
Congratulations, ladies!
