A Different Kind of Stage

In high school, my heart belonged to the theatre. My favorite role, in a play called Screwtape (based on The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis), cast me as the innocent girlfriend of the man a couple of devils attempt to take into hell. The script included a lot of sex talk, a moment when the guy tried to rip off my sweater, and an on-screen kiss. I was seventeen.
It was a blast.
My first book, Sexy by Design, releases today. Years ago, I stood backstage with my stomach in knots and waited for my cue to step out from behind the curtain. I’m thrilled beyond words (and that’s saying a lot for a writer!) to return to the storytelling spotlight, on a day as packed with excitement as the moment I entered the set and every last nerve dissolved, replaced with the high of being on stage and making the audience laugh, gasp, and applaud.
Unless you’re feeling especially enthusiastic, Sexy doesn’t require standing ovations or applause, but I hope it shows you a good time just the same. Please visit my website, my blog, or click here to buy the book!
