Beth Williamson
You can’t say cowboys without thinking of Beth Williamson. She likes ‘em hard, tall, and packing. Read her work and discover for yourself how hot and dangerous a cowboy can be.
Beth lives just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, with her husband and two sons. Born and raised in New York, she holds a B.F.A. in writing from New York University. She spends her days as a technical writer, and her nights immersed in writing hot romances for her readers.
Confessions of a Crier

I admit it, I am a crier. I can cry at the drop of hat at anything and anybody. This holds true for books and movies too. I always have tissues in m purse at the ready. Let me tell you some of the things I let loose the tears on…
Favorite movie to cry to is Steel Magnolias. I think I’ve seen the movie at least a dozen times and yet I still cry. If you haven’t seen it, it’s about the friendship between these southern women and Julia Roberts plays Sally Field’s daughter. I won’t give away the plot, but suffice it to say there’s one scene where Sally Field makes me cry buckets of tears.
Makes me want to pop it in the DVD now. LOL.
Okay, next, I cry when I read a really good romance. One that makes your heart twist in pain right along with the characters. I’ve had to wipe away tears and sob as the emotion leaps off the page into me.
I get very emotional when it comes to kids, too. The strangest things make me cry. One time a few years ago a high school marching band came in to do a pep rally for my company. They looked so amazing, when they marched out, I was completely overwhelmed with emotions and I burst into tears.
Boy did I feel like a dork.
Whenever I hear beautiful music or see one of my son’s concerts, my throat closes up and my eyes prick with tears.
I even get choked up watching made for tv movies.
Gah!
Anyhoo, I’m considering buying stock in Kleenex because believe you me, I am one of their best customers. ;)
Riding (Writing) Hell for Leather
Today marks the release of Hell for Leather – not quite a Malloy book, but an HEA for my favorite gunslinger, Kincaid.
Live from RT, sort of
Whew, y’all, seriously a bit fat, WHEW. I always forget how amazing, busy, and exhausting RT is. It’s Friday and I’m still alive, which is a good thing. Let me give you my update from Pittsburgh.
A Wet and Soggy Vacation
One of the most popular destination spots for a vacation or a weekend down here in the South is the beach. People love going to the coast and I’m no exception. With spring break last week, I booked a nice condo in South Carolina, checked the weather (mid-to upper seventies) and hopped in the car with my family. So, what happened?
And now for devil number two
Today marks the release of Jake, book two in my new series, Devils on Horseback. This series challenges me to go where I haven’t gone before and to tackle sensitive issues I may have shied away from. I’m digging deep, y’all, and hope you’ll come along for the journey.
Resolutions, yea or nay?
Well, it’s five days into the new year, did you make any resolutions? And more importantly, did you break any yet?
The Malloy family continues
Christmas Day marked the official print release date of The Tribute, book 6 in the Malloy family series. Looking back over all the books I’ve written, I think The Tribute was the hardest book to write. Why? Let me fill you in.
Embarking on a new journey
The print release for Devils on Horseback: Nate is the big step in a journey that began two years ago. In case you haven’t heard the story of the devils, the idea for the series came to me about two years ago at a Christmas party. There was an item on the menu called Devils on Horseback – an oyster dish with hot sauce. It immediately clicked in my head and characters jumped out of the woodwork at me. I knew I had to write their stories.
Branded by Bodacious Beth
I always wanted to be known as bodacious. Hooyah! Today marks the release of my novella Branded, the first of three stories in a fun, sexy, western anthology called Leather & Lace.
I live on a teeter totter
I live on a teeter totter. Life for me is up, down, up, down, standing in the center with my arms and legs spread trying to keep my balance. Sometimes I fall off.
