Hi Jenna, I just finished P&P and it was a really good read …
How do you keep your authors straight?
There is no method to my book buying. No list making, no calendar of release dates. Generally, I have no clue when a book releases. One day, I look up and say oh yeah, I wanted that book. And then I buy it.
I think part of it is because I’m extremely impatient. If I had to focus on a book I wanted very much six months in advance, I’d go insane. Because I’d want it now. Now, now, now!
Sometimes, I even miss the release date. (oops) I’ll be browsing Amazon looking for a good book and I’ll see that something I had decided I wanted months ago actually released a good while back.
And pre-order? I can honestly say this is something I’ve never done. Why, I dunno, but I can’t make myself place an order for the book before it releases.
Best of all, it’s such a nice surprise to log into an epublisher site one day, or get on Amazon and poof! The book I’ve wanted forever is THERE. Right in front of me. A pressie just waiting to be opened. It’s a glad glad day and rejoicing all around. (you think I’m kidding)
So, I know that some of you do keep lists, spreadsheets, detailed calendars etc where you keep up with your favorite authors and upcoming releases you’re salivating over. What’s the method to your madness? How do you keep up with all the books you want or do you just do like me and go on binges and buy buy buy every few months?
Brazen is now available!
One woman’s campaign to win the hearts of the two men she loves.
Jasmine left the Sweetwater Ranch and the Morgan brothers, no longer able to bear the painful dilemma of loving them both. After a year away, in which she gains new perspective, she returns home with one goal. To make Seth and Zane Morgan hers.
Jaz may have left an innocent girl, but she’s returned a beautiful, sensual woman. Seth and Zane aren’t prepared for the full on assault she launches and each battle an attraction they’ve fought for years.
She wants them both, but Seth has no intention of sharing his woman. It’s up to her to change his mind because she can’t and won’t choose between two men she loves with equal passion. For her, it’s all or nothing.

Undenied is now available!

Another chance to make a night gone bad very, very right.
Payton Ricci is the last person Wes Hoffman ever expected or wanted to see again. After the disastrous sexual experience between them twelve years ago, he was only too happy to put the whole episode behind him. After all, he’s come a long way since that awkward encounter between two gawky teenagers, and his ego needs no reminder.
The night he sees Payton—a very sexy grown up Payton—in Zack’s Bar and Grill, he’s mortified by this blast from the past. Payton harbors no such reservations about seeing Wes again, and it’s clear she wouldn’t mind catching up on old times. However, Wes can’t get over his mental block where she’s concerned.
But that’s nothing a blindfold and a little mad seduction scheme can’t fix, and Payton is a very determined woman.

Reading Around Samhain
I like to ask readers what they’re reading fairly often. I get ideas for books I haven’t read or authors I haven’t tried, and it’s fun to dish books. This time, though, I decided to ask some Samhain authors and editors what they’re reading. Me? I just finished the first JD Robb book courtesy of Angie. I’m already making a list of books I want for vacation (June) and I’m going to try really hard not to buy and devour them before then. Here is what some other Samhain folks are reading or have just read.

Gracie Evans is a woman tired of the men in her life not satisfying her in bed. She’s had a string of boyfriends, but none of them have come close to satisfying the vivid fantasies she has. Two weeks before Valentine’s Day, she breaks up with her latest boyfriend after a night of lackluster sex.
When her good friend, Luke Forsythe, overhears her talking to their friend Shelly about what she really wants, he’s stunned. And very turned on. Gracie thinks there isn’t a man alive who can satisfy her in bed. Luke aims to prove her wrong.

Her Majesty, My Love has all the elements I most love in romance. Adventure, lots of action, intrigue and a kick ass heroine :)
Of all my books, this one is the one I’m most proud of. I’m so thrilled that it’s found a home with Samhain.

I May Not Survive...
Yes, I’m whining, but I doubt I’m alone at the moment. Three words. Kids. At. Home. Nuff said.
I love my children dearly, but I admit to becoming a bit spoiled since my youngest started school. After changing diapers every single day for 8 years 6 months and 23 days (who’s counting?) my first big YAY! was when my youngest potty trained. That was the first biggie.
