Werewolves & Witches & Vampires...oh my!
Nothing is quite so fun for me as the evolution of a series. It doesn’t matter if I’m reading it or writing it—though I won’t lie…most of the time I’m reading it because I
am a sucker for a series!—nothing is as interesting as watching it grow over time.
A year ago I was on this blog nervously cheering over the release of the very first book my writing partner and I sold to Samhain: Cry Sanctuary, a little tale about werewolves hiding away in the woods where no one else could find them. Back then it was all about the werewolves, and though we knew there were wizards and witches and, yes, even vampires, they weren’t important to the story. The werewolves mattered, and in some cases even the werewolves didn’t know what lay beyond their quiet little world.
Then came the next book in the series, Sanctuary Lost, and with that book came the first intrusion into the werewolves’ ordered life. An apprentice witch upset the balance of their tiny little world, and let me tell you, being the instrument of change isn’t always comfortable!
That’s why I’m so happy today to be celebrating the release of the third book in the series today, and the first book with a protagonist who isn’t a werewolf. Sasha Wallace is a witch in a werewolf world, but she isn’t going to let that stop her. In Sanctuary’s Price she not only overcomes prejudice and hardship to find love with that special werewolf fellow, but they both go on a cross-country adventure that throws another wrench into the works: the series’ first vampire!
I think the warning on Sanctuary’s Price says it best, so I’ll leave you with that and let you decide if a Werewolf, a witch and a vampire might make your Halloween season a little more bewitching!
Sanctuary’s Price (Red Rock Pass Book #3)
Warning: Contains dangerous magical binding spells, a flannel-wearing vampire lumberjack, paranormal road-trip hijinks and a quietly brilliant werewolf willing to defy his society and his past to protect the witch he loves.

Werewolves Need Sanctuary Too
Welcome to a dark world where wizards and werewolves fight for supremacy and only a few of the alphas in the United States hold true to the traditions of protecting their packs.
Cry Sanctuary is a story that has always had a life of its own. Originally conceived as a short story, it ran away from us on day one. What had been a quick little vignette idea turned into a novella, which turned into a short novel, which spawned a sequel, which gave birth to a series.
And as we work on the third book in the Red Rock Pass series, it’s so exciting to realize that today, finally, we get to introduce readers to this world that has been populated with such demanding characters from the beginning.
So join us in the world that just won’t let us leave…

Keith Winston is tired of fighting. The war between werewolves and wizards rages on in Europe, but he’s come home to Red Rock, Montana in hopes of finding a bit of peace. Instead he finds more strife as he struggles against the pack’s dictates that he resume his place as the alpha’s right hand man.
When he rescues a new wolf on the run, he knows his instant attraction to her could cause trouble. What he doesn’t expect is to find himself embroiled in another battle that goes against all his instincts—and his heart.
Abigail Adler learned about the existence of werewolves only when she became one. With her life threatened by a corrupt alpha, she flees to the only sanctuary she knows: Red Rock. While she’s grateful for the pack’s protection, she chafes under its unbreakable rules of conduct—except when it comes to submitting to the passion Keith stirs in her.
Then her tormentor kidnaps her sister in an attempt to lure her out of hiding. To save her, Abby and Keith must be willing to do the very thing that could get them all killed—break all of the rules.
