Do Opposites Really Attract?

Posted by Vivi Andrews, 10/27/09 06:00 AM

Some of my favorite stories are the odd couples of romance. Vivien and Edward from Pretty Woman. Sky Masterson and Sarah Brown from Guys and Dolls. What about Shrek and Fiona?

I love the love stories where the couple in question couldn’t be more different on the surface, but as the movie (or the book, or the play) develops, you see how perfect for one another they really are. Sometimes our polar opposite can shake us out of our comfort zone and show us what we’ve been missing.

Dreamy, Steamy Shape-Shifters

What if you had a shot at just one wild night with the man of your dreams, the one you always thought was out of reach? What would happen if a dream lover you thought was nothing more than a nocturnal fantasy showed up in real life? What if you found out the guy you’d been dreaming about since you were sixteen had been dreaming about you all along?

Kinsey W. Holley, Robie Madison, and I (Hi, I’m Vivi Andrews) tackle these and other “dreamy” questions in our new Shifting Dreams novellas, out today in ebook!

In Your Dreams, Baby

Serengeti Heat CoverYou know that dream man, that unattainable Mr. Perfect? Maybe it’s the boy next door or a mouth-watering star up on the silver-screen. It could be his abs of steel, those boyish dimples or the naughty glint in his eyes that really does it for you. Whatever turns your crank, I’m willing to bet there’s a dream man out there who is your personal kryptonite, and who is just barely out of reach.

The Ghost Shrink, the Accidental Gigolo & the Poltergeist AccountantThe Ghost Shrink, the Accidental Gigolo & the Poltergeist Accountant. It’s a mouthful. And, yes, that’s just one novella. I’ve been teased that my title is longer than the story itself. People have marvelled that they could fit all those words on the cover, but I love my ungainly title. It fits my book and that, IMHO, is what a title should do.
