Love can conquer anything…even death.
After being separated from his lover, Ash, no one and nothing is going to stand in Slate’s way when it comes to getting him back. He plans on using magics he’s unfamiliar with to call Ash back to his side — but he doesn’t think about the consequences. Nothing matters but getting his lover back in his arms again.
However, once they’re reunited, Slate and Ash are determined to stay together no matter what the cost. After all, true love can conquer anything…even death.
Warning: This title contains explicit sex, graphic language, and male/male erotic romance.

Willa Okati has done yet another masterful job in A Year and a Day. The love between Ash and Slate is readily apparent and the huge sense of loss Slate felt when Ash died made me sad as well. The sex was hot and I enjoyed being taken into that aspect of their relationship. I wondered if I would get a satisfying ending from A Year and a Day and I definitely did.
I have loved all of Ms. Okati’s books, but to date, I do consider this one the finest. A Year and a Day made me first smile, then laugh with joy, and next cry; but deep down I could feel it burrowing its way into my heart. This is one of those stories that is going to stay with me forever, even when I’m not consciously thinking about it. This is how talented Willa Okati is.
...one of the best love stories I have had the pleasure of reading. Slate and Ash have a love all couples can only hope to attain. A love so strong, that even death and separation is not enough to see it end. I found myself enthralled with this story, and had to read it from beginning to end. Ms. Okati has penned a love of a lifetime, and it has not only made its way into my heart, but among my list of recommended reads for 2006.
