U.S. Marshal Jack McCay tracks outlaws for a profession and sweet-talks women out of their clothes for pleasure.

When he begins to hunt a vicious killer, he meets one beautiful woman resistant to his charm.

Tessa Jane Creager searches for her family’s murderer. The wanted poster says dead or alive—she’d prefer dead. While on the trail, she gains the unwanted help of a marshal-turned-bounty hunter intent on catching the killer and bedding her.

In pursuit of the renegade, Jack and Tessa Jane have to deal with the harshness of the Wild West and with their shared desires. However, can a handsome man with secrets and a beautiful woman with a violent past overcome their stubborn ways to share everlasting love? 1. In a story filled with one obstacle after another Devil’s Kiss takes us back into a time of an unkind and savage west… With a storyline that could rival some of the best western movies of ole Ms. Williamson takes us on a journey of personal growth and one woman’s evolution from a wild thing to a woman willing and open to sharing love. One of the best things about this story is the love, laughter and humor shared during times that were extremely grueling. This impromptu family epitomized loyal and showcased that real families no matter how they come together keep at it and allows love to guide their way. This is a romantic, funny and at times wrenching story that left me with the satisfied feeling you get when a job is well done. Great job Ms. Williamson!!

  2. ...After reading several of her other novels, Brenda Williamson has quickly earned a spot on my automatic buy list for books, as well as a top spot in my first to be read list! With Devil’s Kiss, she once again proves her chops in the Western Romance genre, along with her skill at crossing the genre boundaries with ease. Indeed, this author seems just as at ease with a shape shifter story or the Fantasy genre as she does with her Historicals and Westerns! As is typical of Williamson’s stories, the characters earn their happy ending by enduring hardships and loss along the way. Be assured you will run through the gamut of emotions while reading this story, but you will definitely be left satisfied!

  3. The sex is sensual and delicious…, but Jack’s sexual appetite builds the tension. When they do come together, TJ’ s naivety holds up to Jack’s experienced but tender love making. The characters are earthy, but genuine. Ms. Williamson develops women that are independent and self-assured, while retaining their femininity. Likewise the men keep their virility and domineering natures, while compromising to get the woman; mostly into his bed. A delightful read that is engaging and lively.

  4. ...a true look and feel of the times and situations that people dealt with then….a fun and sexy romance! While the savage west put forth conditions that hindered them many times from succeeding, both never gave up to find the villain. Just as they never gave up the fight inside for their love for one another…the perfect blend of a western historical romance that hides nothing from the times and guarantees a sensual romance as well.

  5. ...most entertaining romp with a refreshingly different kind of heroine…a well-paced, entertaining, and believable story with a… well, mostly likable and believable cast.
