Just because Fate brings you your perfect mate doesn’t mean it’ll be easy.
A Cascadia Wolves story.
Could there be any worse fate than a road trip from Seattle to L.A.—with one’s mother—to attend a wedding? Why yes, when one isn’t married yet, like Megan Warden. Toss in a grandmother and a carload of already married sisters and it’s a recipe for sneaking sips of “special” coffee while someone else drives.
Shane Rosario has better things to do than attend a wedding where his father’s relatives will be at him nonstop about getting married and having children. If it weren’t for seeing his anchor bond, Layla, he’d have taken a pass on the entire weekend. It would be easy, since he’s become adept at hiding who and what he is.
When the two weren’t even looking, Fate steps in and before they know it, their bond is sealed. Bonded pair, married in the eyes of their people. Two people tied together in every way. Trouble is, Shane’s not sure he wants all that comes with Megan. And Megan’s certain she’s not willing to live outside her pack, pretending to be human.
The distance between them is more than geographical. It’s a widening gulf rapidly filling with resentment…an emotional divide only acceptance could bridge. Can Shane can accept himself to cross it? Only if they let love take control.
Warning: The usual players – hot sexing, pushy Warden males and the women who keep them in line, some EMO (read: grab your hankies) and bad words.

Five hearts!
Another great book by the queen of werewolf books! Right from the beginning your attention will be caught; hook, line and sinker. The plot is fully developed and bursting with details. Fated is a truly wonderful story full of emotion. The chemistry between Megan and Shane is off the charts right from the get go. The sex scenes are phenomenally, blisteringly hot. Despite the ups and downs of their relationship, Megan and Shane always find a way to connect in bed. That connection makes for a lot of yummy scenes for readers.
Five Angels!
I love this series. I wait with bated breath for each new installment and pray that it will be as good as the previous one. Thankfully Lauren Dane has followed through with Fated. Megan is every bit her own person, even more so than her twin Tegan, whose story we learned in a previous book in the series. Shane followed the usual pattern of Ms. Dane’s alpha male. Hot, Sexy, and oh so delicious, he was pure yummy even at his most stubborn. I loved the family dynamics and how it was true to life. Family may mean well but sometimes they just need to back off and let fate run its course. Filled with steamy sex, frustration, angst, and humor, Fated is a real winner!
Five Blue Ribbons!
Lauren Dane’s CASCADIA WOLVES stories are eagerly anticipated by werewolf romance fans. FATED delivers the emotional impact I’ve come to expect from Ms. Dane’s storylines. Megan and Shane make an amazing couple and the heat between them is intense enough to leave readers envious. I loved getting the opportunity to revisit beloved characters from earlier books and really enjoyed how the pack members relate to each other. After reading this series for so long I feel like I genuinely know each of these characters and always look forward to meeting new additions to the Cascadian pack.
Fated clicked with me instantly. I felt Megan’s tenacity at not wanting to give up her pack but I also felt Shane’s shame for being a werewolf. Lauren Dane has written a highly emotional story in Fated. Shane and Megan face real fears and have to make agonizing choices.
Fated was about communication and working through problems. The mating of Shane and Megan took them by surprise but they refused to give up on their mating and each other. Just the way a loving relationship should be. Mark Fated in the winner’s column! I loved it!
5 Cups!
This is one of the best of a really great series. I wondered how the author would handle life after the Werewolf Wars and the last Ward’s mating, and this story answers all my questions. (…) This is a great view of the life and customs of the Cascadia Pack and goes much deeper into the mate bond and relationship than the previous stories. I am truly sorry that there are no more Wards, but the Rosario clan has some pretty hot wolves I would like to see more of.
