Warning, this title contains the following: Sex in an interdimensional cave. Hot men ripping demons apart bare-handed. Liberal use of the f-word as verb, adjective, threat and sexual promise. Oh, and wet and soapy sex in the shower followed by warm bodies sliding between cool sheets—yes, sex in a bed. It’s almost normal!
Forsaken Talisman is a romantic, action-packed adventure you won’t want to miss, filled with characters the reader will care about from the first paragraph. Ashleigh Raine delivers a thrilling story that will have you turning pages well into the morning hours.

A far more “serious” story than anything I’ve read by this author before… Still, this is a pretty interesting and entertaining story while it lasts. Just read the previous book first.

FORSAKEN TALISMAN is the second novel in the TALISMAN BAY series, and it is every bit as exciting and steamy as the first novel, LOVER’S TALISMAN. The writing duo who make up Ashleigh Raine have created a story rich in passion and suspense, with an intriguing cast of characters and so many twists and turns that the reader is left breathless with each new paragraph.

…a tremendous and exciting sequel to Lover’s Talisman. Although this story revolves around Dusty and Skylar, there’s a larger picture building with several of the other characters…I highly recommend this book, indeed this series, to lovers of paranormal and urban fantasies.
I almost want to say that these books are not for me. Not because they aren’t good, but because they don’t seem to follow the traditional lines that romance books do, if that makes sense. However, I am so intrigued and drawn into the plot and characters, I can’t help myself. I anxiously await the third installment in this series.

…just as good as the first…Dusty is a type of hero that I really enjoy…It was nice to catch up on the rest of the series characters, and it makes me want everyone’s book right away. I am really looking forward to more from this series, and I have no doubt Ashleigh Raine will keep the great stories coming.

I totally enjoyed reading this novel with the twists and turns I didn’t even see coming, all part of what makes Ashleigh Raine a great writer. Ms. Raine writes a story with such emotional depth that you’re pulled in to each characters struggles and triumphs in life. Forsaken Talisman is a fast paced action filled book that the reader will be hard pressed to leave until the last page.
