Josh is an alpha male without being a jerk: he’s noble, capable and action-oriented, but also generous, kind and tender. (You know, the kind of hero I wish I could find in a straight romance.)...As MONSTER reached its cliffhanger, the author gave a few peeks into the dark sides of Minder culture. I took it as a promise that the two future installments will explore those shadows further. I look forward to the trip.

Rating: 4 Stars Heat level: H ...Ms. Skye has created an emotionally engaging, saddening, and somehow loving story…Their lovemaking is tender, sensual, and sizzling at the same time, with just a hint of the love that may come in the future. Unfortunately, Kir’s ability as a Minder leaves Josh with a taste of distrust and leaves the reader wondering what may happen next. With two more installments coming in the future, I can hardly wait to see how their relationship develops into more.
